Arnold Schwarzenegger goes viral for incredible act of kindness concerning million-dollar home's nei

The Terminator was praised by fans and his neighbors alike for taking action on a safety concern

Whoever lives near Arnold Schwarzenegger's California home has a proper good samaritan as their neighbor.

It seems that the actor turned politician, who was Governor of California from 2003 to 2011, still has an unwavering commitment to public service, even 20 years after being sworn into office.

The star, 74, who still lives in California, in the affluent Pacific Palisades community, has gone viral after he shared a video of just how committed he is to keeping his neighborhood in tip-top shape.

Schwarzenegger took to Instagram Tuesday with a video of him fixing up a large pothole his neighbors had been complaining about for weeks.

The clip captures him looking cool and ready to work, donning black sweats and a brown leather jacket, plus sleek black sunglasses, out on the street with people from his camp, pouring black gravel over the large depth on the concrete.

Throughout the video, they expertly pat down the freshly poured gravel with shovels, and they even get interrupted by a fellow resident of the community driving down the street, who stopped to say thank you to Schwarzenegger and the others working on the hole.

In his caption, the former governor explained: "Today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that's been screwing up cars and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my team and fixed it."

He added: "I always say, let's not complain, let's do something about it. Here you go," and safe to say it left fans inspired.

His followers were quick to praise him for taking action, writing in the comments section under the post: "That pothole is terminated," and: "Thank you so much for this! It's been on the road for such a long time! It's been such a safety concern!" as well as: "The world needs more leadership like this. Thank you Arnold for always showing what right looks like."

Shortly after, Elena Stern, a senior public information director for the Department of Public Works in Los Angeles, told that it was not actually pothole, but rather a "service trench that relates to active, permitted work being performed at the location by SoCal Gas, who expects the work to be completed by the end of May."
